Muslim Brotherhood Fully Supports Erdogan, Al-Qaradawi Say

Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, president of the Association of Muslim Scholars, and the ideological leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, issued a written statement yesterday stating he fully supports Erdogan.
Qaradawi called on the people of Turkey to get behind the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan against foreign conspiracies, so that the Turkish government can protect its historic gains.
Sheikh al-Qaradawi said the opposition who are protesting in the Taksim Square qualifies as a minority, and they should respect the opinion of the majority and refrain from destructive behaviors.
Qaradawi also praised Erdogan for passing all kinds of social and moral laws against corruption of morality and religion in Turkey saying “Erdogan has an honorable stance on Muslim ummah.”
Sheikh Al-Qaradawi continued his stateminet, adding the success of Erdogan’s Justice and Development Party was due to help of Allah, because by prohibiting the use of alcohol Erdogan stopped moral corruption and destruction of society.
He also defended Erdogan government’s foreign policy against Israel. “Especially in Iraq, Syria and Somalia, Erdogan government had an honorable stance against the Muslim ummah’s enemies. Hence the Association of Muslim Scholars appreciated the support of Prime Minister Erdogan, and wishes him success dealing with his domestic problems.”
Qaradawi added that the protestors were acting against Allah’s will.
Influential Muslim cleric Al-Qaradawi has long had a prominent role within the intellectual leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood, an Egyptian political organization where Egypt’s current President Mohamed Morsi also belongs to. Qaradawi best known for his program, al-Sharīʿa wa al-Ḥayāh (“Shariah and Life”), broadcast on Al Jazeera, which has an estimated audience of 60 million worldwide.
Qaradawi is founder and president of the International Association of Muslim Scholars, which has issued several anti-Zionist fatwas (religious edicts). He is chairman of the IslamOnline website, which has published numerous articles and religious rulings which were anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, and supportive of violence against non-Muslims.
One of Qaradawi’s foremost passions is his deep and unwavering hatred for, and distrust of, the Jewish people. He has unambiguously justified Palestinian suicide bombings as legitimate responses to alleged “Zionist” aggression and occupation. In 2004 he told BBC television, “Allah Almighty is just; through his infinite wisdom he has given the weak a weapon the strong do not have, and that is their ability to turn their bodies into bombs as Palestinians do.”
in April 2004, Qaradawi issued a fatwa declaring a Muslim boycott of American- and Israeli-made products. “To buy their goods is to support tyranny, oppression and aggression,” he wrote. “Buying goods from them will strengthen them; our duty is to make them as weak as we can.”
The following month, Qaradawi said, “There is no dialogue between us [Muslims and Jews] except by the sword and the rifle.”
In 2005, Qaradawi issued a fatwa permitting the killing of Jewish fetuses, on the logic that when Jews grow up they might join the Israeli military.

They see neo-sultan as one of them.
I had discussions with some of them. They openly told me they want to bring the Islamic Caliphate back. The funny thing is Arabs actually supported British in the World War I to crash the Ottomans who were the Islamic Caliphate, so I guess after living under their Kings and Dictators who are in bed with the West over petro-dollar, after 90 years, they want the Ottoman rule back, LOL…The entire thing is comical, but very sad for the secular, progressive Turks who want to keep their secular Republic.
Just look at Iran. How many beautiful urban people have to live in hiding because primitive theocrats decided they should run the show?
