Amidst the Terror and Fear

I have lived in 3 different countries and traveled to a few others, and I assure you: 90% of the population in those countries do not have a clue what their government- together with their military, mega corporations and banks- is doing. So, make sure you do not hate on the people of those countries for their governments’ wrongdoings. Every government, without exception, has secret dealings and has blood in its hands, sometimes even without the knowledge of its President.

I came to learn the difference. Most people are innocent. We wake up each morning, strap our seatbelts on, take our kids to school, go to work, and pay our bills. We all have similar aspirations: bring up good kids, have a decent job, maybe buy a nice house and take vacations once in a while. Have good friends and a loving, healthy and happy family. Most people do not want war. Most people do not want to hate their neighbors, be it next door or next country.

But a few people do! And those few seem to be doing most of the damage and creating most of the carnage around the world. The real culprits’ motivations are power, control and domination, through any means necessary. And the tools are being used to accomplish these objectives are mostly religion, ethnicity, race, political ideology and money, to brainwash and use people.

My humble recommendation is, do not generalize based on race, religion, creed or ethnicity. Whenever you are prompted to “hate” something or someone or some country, ask yourself, “Who would benefit from me hating this person?” Ask yourself, “Where would this go, if I hate this person?” Ask yourself, “Is the information I am getting correct?” Do your own research. Or, simply refuse to hate!

We are all human brothers and sisters sharing this one precious earth. Do not let powers that be, with their hidden agendas, cloud your humanity!

Have a wonderful weekend.
