Myth: “Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican”
Republicans, many of whom have spent decades telling us Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a communist, now suddenly feel that it gives them credibility on social and racial issues if they maintain that Dr. King was a Republican.
